SETC 64th Annual Convention March 6-10, 2013, Louisville, KY

Over 4,000 actors, professional company representatives, design and technical professionals, theatre educators, students from universities and high schools, commercial exhibitors, university representatives, community theatre producers and participants – those who practice theatre as a vocation and those who hold it as their avocation – will gather for The Nation’s Largest Theatre Convention at the Galt House Hotel, Louisville, KY. 

Since 1949, SETC has been hosting an annual convention held each year during the first week of March. This is a theatre convention that HAS IT ALL! Participants can choose from a multitude of events and activities to find their niche or interest.

Richard St. Peter is an award winning stage director, producer and educator with over 40 professional directing credits including HAMLET (production featured in Jan 2008 American Theatre Magazine), ROMEO AND JULIET, RABBIT HOLE, GROSS INDECENCY, THE LARAMIE PROJECT, SUBURBIA, STOP KISS, ALL MY SONS, TARTUFFE, EDWARD II, THE TWO GENTLEMEN OF VERONA, THE TAMING OF THE SHREW and many others. From 2003-2009 he served as the Artistic Director of Kentucky's Actors Guild of Lexington having prior served as the Associate Artistic Director of both TheatreVirginia (LORT) and Barksdale Theatre. He is a member of SDC (the Stage Directors and Choreographers Society), the Lincoln Center Theater Director's Lab and a guest lecturer at Rose Bruford College in London. He has taught or guest lectured at the University of Kentucky, Centre College, Texas Tech University, Christopher Newport University and others.
