SETC 64th Annual Convention March 6-10, 2013, Louisville, KY

Over 4,000 actors, professional company representatives, design and technical professionals, theatre educators, students from universities and high schools, commercial exhibitors, university representatives, community theatre producers and participants – those who practice theatre as a vocation and those who hold it as their avocation – will gather for The Nation’s Largest Theatre Convention at the Galt House Hotel, Louisville, KY. 

Since 1949, SETC has been hosting an annual convention held each year during the first week of March. This is a theatre convention that HAS IT ALL! Participants can choose from a multitude of events and activities to find their niche or interest.

English born Anthony Haigh is a Professor of Theatre at Centre College in Kentucky and is a founding director of the Scarlet Cup Theatre Company - a site specific theatre company based in Central Kentucky. He has just returned from England where he led a tour of England's regional theatres - 15 plays in 21 days! He is a Fellow of the Rose Bruford College - one of London's leading Drama Schools - and runs an exchange program between them and Centre College. A former president of SETC, he is also active professionally as an actor, producer, director and playwright. He recently appeared in the title role of Fr. Aiden in "Aiden's Gift." He also recently produced the American Premier of an Irish play - "Two Sore Legs." His latest directing gig was a production of Euripides' "Hecuba" in which he partnered with Kentucky Refugee Ministries.
